Our Partners

Businesses and Corporations

Each of our four concerts is sponsored by an enlightened business in our area which understands the deep importance of the arts to the vibrancy of our community. We are very grateful to our 2011 Festival concert sponsors: For the first time this year, we welcome a corporate sponsor for our Education Programs: In 2011, the Education Programs include two masterclasses, two composer-in-residence events hosted by Maine Coast Book Shop, and a free family concert in collaboration with Lincoln Theater. Schooner Cove Retirement Community is once again hosting and sponsoring a masterclass, co-sponsored by Uni-Sim Corporation. The other masterclass is sponsored by Cheney Financial Group. And our list of 2011 business sponsors is illustrious: Bradley Inn, Camden National Bank, Drs. Davis, Olson & Albert, Hotel Pemaquid, King Eider's Pub, Maine Coast Book Shop and Cafe, Mexicali Blues, NS Design, Reny's, Stars Fine Jewelry and Gifts, Michael Wayashe CPA and Weatherbird. We are grateful to the Damariscotta River Grill and Anchor Inn for donating food for our annual benefit concert on June 26, 2011, to Cottage Garden Center for their beautiful flowers at the concerts, and to Yamaha Pianos for loan of the concert grand piano. Please call 207/522-3749 or write us at for more information about our business sponsorship programs.

Non-Profit Partners

Salt Bay Chamberfest is an integral part of the diverse non-profit community in our midcoast Maine communities. Our partnership with the Damariscotta River Association and the Darrows Barn they manage on the Round Top campus is a long and fruitful one. The Lincoln Theater is co-presenter with us of the first-ever Family Fun with Classical Music event on Saturday, August 20, 2001. River Arts inspires us to consider the many connections between the musical and visual arts and will host a composers' masterclass on Friday, August 26. The DaPonte String Quartet shares our passion for chamber music, and their members teach strings to many promising young players in the area, creating future audiences. Skidompha Library provides  space for the occasional meeting and is our "office away from home" with free Internet for our staff and many visiting musicians. The Maine Public Broadcasting Network airs our recorded concerts throughout the winter and features performance and conversation with visiting musicians and composers in August on their "Live at 11" program.
