Wilhelmina Ulbrich, Board
Member
Willy grew up locally, on a farm in Warren, Maine where she was
valedictorian of her Medomak Valley High School class. She went
on to get a degree in English Literature from Harvard College,
where she became intensely involved in the Radcliffe crew team.
For several years after college she worked as a development officer
for the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and later helped manage a
commercial real-estate business outside of Boston. In 1998 she
returned to school to get a Master's in flute performance from
Boston Conservatory and later, the Longy School of Music, where
she studied with Marianne Gedigian and Robert Willoughby. Willy
became Managing Director of Chamberfest in the winter of 2004
and guided the organization through two festival seasons. In the
fall of 2005, she accepted a teaching position at the Southfield
School in Brookline, Massachusetts. We are delighted that she
remains with Chamberfest as a board member.
