Wilhelmina Smith, Artistic Director
Cellist and Chamberfest Artistic Director Wilhelmina Smith has performed nationally and internationally as recitalist, concerto soloist and chamber musician. Hailed by the New York Times as “winningly individual,” she was a prizewinner in the 1997 Leonard Rose International Cello Competition. She made her debut as soloist with the Philadelphia Orchestra in 1988. She is currently the cellist of the Mannes Trio, and founding member of Music from the Copland House and the Variation String Trio.
