And our list of 2010 business sponsors is long and growing: Artsake Framers Gallery, Bradley Inn, Damariscotta Hardware, Drs. Davis, Olson & Albert, Frost Gully Violins, H.M. Payson, Le Garage, Maine Coast Bookstore and Cafe, Mexicali Blues, Newcastle Publick House, NS Design, Stars Fine Jewelry and Gifts, Michael Wayashe CPA and Weatherbird. for more information about our business sponsorship programs.
We are grateful to the Damariscotta River Grill and Anchor Inn for donating food for our annual benefit concert in July, to Cottage Garden Center for their in-kind support, and to Yamaha Pianos for loan of the concert grand piano.
Non-Profit Partners
Salt Bay Chamberfest is an integral part of the diverse non-profit community in our midcoast Maine communities. Our partnership with the Damariscotta River Association and the Darrows Barn they manage on the Round Top campus is a long and fruitful one. River Arts inspires us to consider the many connections between the musical and visual arts. The DaPonte String Quartet shares our passion for chamber music, and their members teach strings to many promising young players in the area, creating future audiences. Skidompha Library has accessible space for our masterclasses and provides an "office away from home" with free Internet for our staff and many visiting musicians. The Maine Public Broadcasting Network airs our recorded concerts throughout the winter and features performance and conversation with visiting musicians and composers in August on their "Live at 11" program.
