Kathryn Greenbank
Oboe
Kathryn Greenbank has been Principal Oboist
of The Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra since 1982. She is a graduate
of the Curtis Institute of Music where she studied with John de
Lancie. Kathryn is a frequent soloist with the SPCO and has been
featured on many of their recordings including Ravels Le
Tombeau de Couperin, Stravinskys Pulcinella and Dvoraks
Serenade in D Minor for Winds. Greenbank is also an committed
chamber musician and has performed at the Marlboro Music Festival,
Aspen Music Festival, Grand Teton Music Festival, Sarasota Music
Festival and the Bay Chamber Concert Series. She has toured with
Music from Marlboro and appeared with them at Carnegie Hall during
the ensembles 40th anniversary concerts. Greenbank has played
with the Philadelphia Orchestra, Boston Symphony, Orpheus Chamber
Orchestra and Kansas City Symphony. She also served on the faculty
of the University of Minnesota from 1985-1996.
