about the artists
Salt Bay Chamberfest musicians are among today's
most sought-after artists. Some performers hold first chair positions
in major symphony orchestras (e.g., Chicago, Cleveland, Minneapolis,
New York, Philadelphia) or are members of internationally prominent
string quartets (e.g., Guarneri, Brentano, Borromeo, Miami). Others
are world-renowned soloists and recording artists.
The collegiality, camaraderie,
and opportunity to play chamber music with colleagues are among
the reasons musicians return to Chamberfest year after year. We
believe that the artists' love and enthusiasm for Chamberfest
